Outlander lost its charm for me when they sailed to America. As an American and Mayflower Descendant,
I’ve done a fair amount of research into “our” history. It is relatively recent compared to Scotland’s. Too bad Gabaldon didn’t have Claire & Jamie go back in time to somewhere in 6th-8th century and give fans a wee bit of Pictish history. The conflict would be between the Christians and the druids who were converted to Christianity. I wonder whose side they would take….
