Over on Twitter in mid-July, 2013 a spirited group of lassies were enjoying bantering with Sam Heughan, cast as our beloved Jamie Fraser from Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series. In trying to come up with a name for this group of fans, Kim Lovelady (@KimLovelady1) suggested hooligans and Jan Paquette (@JanPaquete) thought to tweak it to Heughan’s Heughligans…and so the fan group was born.
Of course, as always, we are all blessed that Diana Gabaldon decided to write that first ‘practice novel’ so many years ago.

I have been in contact by one who clames hen was SH manager when I told them about a group on FB where a person said he was SH ( in PM)
an became rude and a bit aggressive when I didn’t want to send a photo of me. This manager wonder if I got my fancard jet….will cost 450$….. I played along (I know he’s not SH) and they added my on What’s up, wrote with this manager and now apparently it’s SH himself that write to me!!! I do not believe in this but wanna know how far they will go….saddle I think som young girls will fall for it.

I recently came across the Outlanders series. Loved it so much, that I am watching it over and over as I am sure others are. Is it still possible to be be part of the group. Thank you for the info if possible.
